Croissant French Toast

INGREDIENTS:
margarine or cooking oil spray 4 croissant, split in half lengthwise 1 10-ounce jar orange marmalade
1-1/2 ounces orange liqueur 1 tespoon almond extract 1 cup regular or fat-free cream, or nondairy cream substutute
egg beaters equivalent to 4 eggs



1 Grease a baking dish with margarine.
2 Place bottom half of croissants side by side in baking dish. Set aside.
3 Mix together orange marmalade and orange liqueur. Spread two thirds of marmalade mixture on croissants in baking dish. Cover with top half of croissants. Set aside.
4 Mix together almond extract, cream, and Egg Beaters and pour over croissants. Spread remaining marmalade over top.
5 Chill in refrigerator overnight.
6 Preheat oven to 350 F.
7 Bake for about 30 minutes, until eggs have set and top is crusty and browned.
8 This French toast in great for "Breaking the fast."
