INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 tablespoons butter 1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced 1/2 teaspoon sugar
4 (4-inch) individual-size prepared pizza crusts 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 2 medium ripe pears, cored and sliced
1/4 cup chopped prosciutto 1/4 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme

1 Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onions and cook over medium low heat, stirring frequently, 25 minutes or until onions are very soft and golden brown. Add sugar and cook 5 minutes more.
2 Place pizza crusts on a large baking sheet and top with equal amounts of mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, pears, prosciutto and Parmesan cheese. Bake in preheated 450-degree oven about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Sprinkle top with thyme and let cool slightly. Cut into wedges and serve.
