Preheat oven to 300 F. Combine flour, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and salt in bowl; whisk until blended. Add margarine and vanilla. Using electric mixer, beat until soft dough forms. Using moistened hands, shape dough into 1-inch balls. Arrange 12 dough balls on ungreased baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart (cookies will flatten and spread). Bake cookies until golden brown at edges, about 17 minutes. Let cool 3 minutes. Transfer cookies to rack and cool. Repeat with remaining dough balls, using cool baking sheet each time. |
