| 1 lb calf's liver, sliced | flour to tip | 4 strips bacon |
| 2 tbls butter | salt and pepper | |
| 1 | Dip liver in flour. Fry liver and bacon together in hot butter on both sides. Season and arrange on a hot plate. Serve with rice or potatoes. |
