Curried Bananas

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 T butter, melted 2 T lemon juice 3/4 t curry powder
6 bananas, green-tipped



1 Combine orange juice, wine, sugar, butter, lemon juice, and curry powder in a saucepan. Simmer until thick and syrupy. Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise. Arrange in a buttered baking dish. Pour on syrup. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes. Baste often.
