In a saucepan over low heat, combine evaporated milk, maple syrup and corn syrup. Increase heat to medium. Whisk in cornstarch and cook, whisking constantly, for 5 minutes or until thickened. (Do not allow to boil.) |

Add butter and vanilla; stir until melted and smooth. Transfer immediately to dessert fondue pot over candle flame. Stir in walnuts. |

Spear a piece of fruit or cake with fondue fork and dip in fondue. |

Serve with pineapple chunks, banana slices, ladyfingers, mango slices, apple wedges. |
