Bean Rissoles (Bohnenschnitzel)

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb beans 1 egg 1 oz onion
1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley 1/2 lb diced ham or sausage 2 ozs breadcrumbs (6 tablespoons)



1 Soak the beans overnight and cook until soft. Put through a sieve. Add the egg, the chopped fried onions, chopped parsley, salt and the diced ham. Now dip into flour, egg and breadcrumbs and fry in hot fat. Serve with salad.
2 NOTE: You can of course use the same quantity of beans from a tin.
