Nut Dessert (Nufkugerln)

INGREDIENTS:
6 ozs walnuts 6 ozs (not quite 1 cup) sugar 1-1/2 ozs mixed candied fruit and peel
2 egg whites nuts for decoration chocolate covering (see under Mozartkugeln)



1 Chop the candied fruit, and put into a basin. Add the ground walnuts the sugar and the egg whites. Mix well and form into small balls, the size of a walnut. Cover with chocolate icing (see under Mozartkugerln) and put one half walnut on top, then cool and arrange in paper capsules.
