| 6 ozs walnuts | 6 ozs (not quite 1 cup) sugar | 1-1/2 ozs mixed candied fruit and peel |
| 2 egg whites | nuts for decoration | chocolate covering (see under Mozartkugeln) |
| 1 | Chop the candied fruit, and put into a basin. Add the ground walnuts the sugar and the egg whites. Mix well and form into small balls, the size of a walnut. Cover with chocolate icing (see under Mozartkugerln) and put one half walnut on top, then cool and arrange in paper capsules. |
