| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 pounds large shrimp | 36 ounces beer | 8 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed |
| 1/4 cup seafood seasoning | 2 tablespoons salt | 3 bay leaves |
| 4 teaspoons Tabasco | 1-1/2 teaspoons celery seed | 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper |
| juice of 2 lemons | butter or margarine, melted | and seasoned to taste with additional seafood seasoning and Tabasco |
| 1 | Wash shrimp, but do not remove the shells. Combine the remaining ingredients except the lemon juice and butter and bring to a boil in a large pot. Add shrimp and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, until shrimp are pink and tender, approximately 2 to 5 minutes. Drain and serve with plenty of seasoned melted butter. |
