Shrimp Boiled in Beer

INGREDIENTS:
3 pounds large shrimp 36 ounces beer 8 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1/4 cup seafood seasoning 2 tablespoons salt 3 bay leaves
4 teaspoons Tabasco 1-1/2 teaspoons celery seed 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
juice of 2 lemons butter or margarine, melted and seasoned to taste with additional seafood seasoning and Tabasco



1 Wash shrimp, but do not remove the shells. Combine the remaining ingredients except the lemon juice and butter and bring to a boil in a large pot. Add shrimp and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, until shrimp are pink and tender, approximately 2 to 5 minutes. Drain and serve with plenty of seasoned melted butter.
