Bread Dish with Oranges (Broodschoteltje met sinaasap-pels)

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 pound white bread without crusts 2 cups orange juice 1/2 cup butter
2 egg yolks 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten



1 Mash the bread fine in warm orange juice. Stir the butter until soft and fold in the egg yolks, sugar, and lemon rind. Blend these ingredients till they are very light and creamy. Mix with the bread. Fold in egg whites. Pour in a greased baking dish and let rise in a slow oven (325 F.) for about 1/2 hour.
