| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 quarts water | 2 tablespoons butter or margarine | 1 tablespoon salt |
| 2 cups uncooked regular rice | ||
| 1 | Heat water, butter or margarine and salt to boiling in a large heavy saucepan. Stir in rice and heat to boiling. |
| 2 | Boil rice 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain rice in a large strainer. Pack into a buttered 8-cup bowl; cover bowl with foil. |
| 3 | Keep rice warm in a very low oven (250) until ready to serve. |
