Quick Caramel Fondue

INGREDIENTS:
14oz/425g vanilla caramels 1/2 cup/125ml light (5%) cream 2 tbsp/25ml rum



1 In the top of double boiler, over hot (not boiling water), melt together caramels and cream, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in rum.
2 Transfer immediately to dessert fondue pot over candle flame.
3 Spear a piece of fruit or cake with fondue fork and dip in fondue.
4 Serve with Granny Smith apple wedges, pear wedges, banana chunks, pineapple chunks, vanilla wafers, ladyfingers.
