| 3 lb spareribs, cut in serving pieces | 2 cups hot tap water | 1 can (8-1/2 oz) crushed pineapple |
| 1 can (8-oz) tomato sauce | 1/3 cup vinegar | 1 teaspoon garlic salt |
| 1 teaspoon chili powder | 2 tablespoons light molasses | 1 tablespoon prepared mustard |
| 1 tablespoon liquid smoke | ||
| 1 | In 3-qt casserole place ribs and water. Cover. Microwave at medium 40 minutes. Drain ribs. |
| 2 | In 1-qt glass measure mix together pineapple, tomatoe sauce, vinegar, garlic salt, chili powder, molasses, mustard and liquid smoke. Pour over drained ribs, stirring to coat each piece. Cover. Microwave at medium 40-50 minutes, until ribs are tender. |
