Herbed Steak Broil

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup clear French salad dressing with herbs and spices 1/2 cup dry sherry 2 tablespoons sliced green onion
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce 2-1/2 to 3-pound chuck steak, cut 1-1/2 inches thick



1 Combine salad dressing, wine, onion, worcestershire, and dash pepper. Pour over steak in shallow dish. Marinate several hours or overnight, turning at least once and spooning sauce over occasionally. Drain, reserving marinade. Broil steak over hot coals for 40 to 50 minutes, turning every 10 to 15 minutes and brushing with marinade. Roast will be rare; cook longer for desired doneness.
