INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup sugar 1/3 cup cocoa 3 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
1/8 teaspoon salt 2-3/4 cups milk 1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla



1 Combine sugar, cocoa, tapioca and salt in saucepan; blend in milk and egg. Let stand 5 minutes. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into bowl; press plastic wrap onto surface. Cool; chill. Spoon into dessert dishes.
