In a bowl with an electric mixer, beat together softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup (125 ml) of the cream until smooth. Set aside. |

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add green onions and garlic; saute until softened. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup [125 ml] cream; cook until hot (not boiling). Reduce heat to simmer. |

Add cream cheese mixture in small amounts to saucepan, whisking constantly after each addition. Add blue cheese, whisking constantly until melted. |

Stir in crabmeat, lemon juice and Tabasco. Mix well. Transfer to fondue pot and serve immediately. |

Serve with...Sourdough bread cubes, blanched vegetables (such as broccoli and asparagus), and fresh slices of red and green peppers. |
