| 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter | 8 shallots, chopped | 2 pounds frozen peas, thawed |
| 1/2 cup low-salt chicken broth | 1/3 cup chopped fresh chives | |
| 1 | Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots; saute until tender, about 4 minutes. Add peas and broth. Cook, uncovered, until peas are tender and broth evaporates, stirring often, about 6 minutes. Add chives; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl. |
