Sauteed Peas with Shallots and Chives

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter 8 shallots, chopped 2 pounds frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup low-salt chicken broth 1/3 cup chopped fresh chives



1 Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots; saute until tender, about 4 minutes. Add peas and broth. Cook, uncovered, until peas are tender and broth evaporates, stirring often, about 6 minutes. Add chives; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl.
