INGREDIENTS:
4 fresh artichokes boiling water to cover artichokes juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons sugar salt to taste



1 Remove the coarse bottom leaves and trim the stems of the artichokes. Immerse the green artichokes in boiling water. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove the artichokes, stand upside down to drain, then chill thoroughly. Garnish with mayonnaise.
