Sally's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

INGREDIENTS:
1 10-3/4 ounce can tomato soup 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water 2 small onions, diced 1 egg
milk (to make recipe kosher, use a nondairy substitute such as soy milk or rice milk) 1 pound chopped meat



1 Combine tomato soup, brown sugar, lemon juice, water, and onions in a large pot and heat to boiling.
2 Combine egg and enough milk to make 3/4 cup. Mix well with chopped meat, Form into small meatballs.
3 Drop meatballs into boiling soup mixture, cover, and let simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.
