INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds salt pork 5 pounds carrots, diced 3 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
9 large onions, cut in pieces 1 large can white beans



1 Boil the salt pork in 4 cups water. Taste, and if the water is too salty, add fresh water. Add the carrots, onions, and potatoes, and cook till nearly done. Take the salt pork out. Stir the vegetables and let them cook till they have the consistency of a stew. Add the beans and the salt pork, cut in thin slices. Reheat.
