Mango Sorbet

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups water 2/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup light corn syrup
2 large ripe mangoes 1 cup orange juice 1/4 cup orange liqueur



1 IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN: Combine water, sugar, and corn syrup. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves; set aside to cool. Peel mangoes. Cut pulp from seeds; discard seeds. In blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, puree mango pulp and orange juice. Stir into cooled syrup. Add liqueur. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions; or follow refrigerator-freezer instructions.
