| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 cups water | 2/3 cup sugar | 2/3 cup light corn syrup |
| 2 large ripe mangoes | 1 cup orange juice | 1/4 cup orange liqueur |
| 1 | IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN: Combine water, sugar, and corn syrup. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves; set aside to cool. Peel mangoes. Cut pulp from seeds; discard seeds. In blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, puree mango pulp and orange juice. Stir into cooled syrup. Add liqueur. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions; or follow refrigerator-freezer instructions. |
