| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 large onion, finely chopped | 2 T butter | 2-1/2 lbs ground beef |
| 1-/12 cups fresh bread crumbs | 2 cups finely chopped apples, peeled and cored | 3 eggs, beaten |
| 1 T chopped parsley | 1/2 t pepper | 2 t salt |
| 1/4 t allspice | 1 T prepared mustard, or 1/4 t dry mustard | 1/4 cup catsup |
| 1 | Saute onion in butter until soft. Then combine all ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Form into loaf and place in 10x14" baking pan (or pack into large greased loaf pan). Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let sit for 15 minutes before serving. |
