| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed | 1 egg | 2 T butter |
| 1/4 cup molasses | 1 t vanilla | 1 cup flour |
| 1/2 t salt | 1/2 t baking soda | 1/2 t cinnamon |
| 1/2 t ginger, ground | 1/4 t cloves, ground | 1/4 cup milk |
| 1 cup nuts, coarsely chopped | ||
| 1 | Mix together sugar, egg, butter, molasses, and vanilla. Sift flour with soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Add alternately with milk. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9" square pan. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan. |
