INGREDIENTS:
1 8-ounce package frozen (plain or with any seasoning) tomato, cucumber, onion, or a combination 2 hamburger buns or kaiser rolls
desired condiment (catsup, prepared mustard, salsa, bottled barbecue sauce, mayonnaise or salad dressing, plain yogurt or dairy sour cream, or a combination) 2 lettuce leaves or alfalfa sprouts

1 Thaw meat.
2 Unwrap the thawed meat, keeping the rectangle shape. Cut the meat rectangle crosswise in half, forming 2 square patties. Preheat a large skillet over high heat. (If using turkey, lightly grease skillet before heating.) Add meat patties, then reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook for 4 minutes. Turn the patties over. Continue cooking, covered, about 4 minutes or till turkey is well done or till beef is to desired doneness.
3 While patties are cooking, slice enough tomato, cucumber, or onion to top 2 burgers. Separate onion slices into rings. Split buns or rolls, then spread bottoms with desired condiment. Serve patties on bun bottoms. If desired, top with additional condiment. Then top with the lettuce or sprouts, and tomato, cucumber, or onion rings. Add bun tops.
