| 2 pounds link sausages, halved | 3 onions, chopped | 3 tablespoons flour |
| 3/4 cup water | 3 1-pound cans pork and beans | 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce |
| 1 bay leaf | 1/2 teaspoon salt | 3/4 teaspoon thyme |

| 1 | Brown sausages in a large skillet. Remove sausage from the pan, reserving 1/4 cup fat. Cook onions and flour in fat, stirring until flour is brown. Remove from heat and pour in water, stirring to blend it with the flour and onions. Pour into crock cooker with the remaining ingredients. stir in blend. Cover and cook at low for 5 to 7 hours. |
