INGREDIENTS:
6 medium-sized squash, peeled and cut into slices 4 medium size Vidalia sweet onions, peeled and cut into slices 3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon salt pepper to taste 2 cups round butter cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons margarine, melted



1 Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium-high until water bubbles, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain off excess water. Pour mixture into a well greased, 2-quart, casserole dish. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Drizzle margarine over crackers. Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minuts or until golden brown.
