| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2-1/2 T flour | 1/2 c milk | 1/2 c shortening |
| 1/4 t salt | 10 T sugar | 1 t vanilla |
| 1 | Mix first two items and cook until thick. Cool. |
| 2 | Mix shortening and sugar; then add salt and vanilla. Mix the cooledmixture in and beat with a mixer until it is very thick and creamy. Frost the cake. Can use one packet of liquid unsweetened chocolate to make a chocolate icing. Sprinkle ground walnuts on top of cake, if desired. |
