| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 lbs deer 900g | 2 eggs (hard boiled) (optional) | lime juice or vinegar |
| 1 tsp salt 5ml | 1/2 tsp black pepper 2ml | 1/2 tsp thyme 2ml |
| 1 tblsp vegetable oil or margarine 15ml | 3 tblsps curry powder 45ml | 1 small tin green peas |
| 1 | Boil eggs and let cool. |
| 2 | Clean deer with lime juice or vinegar. |
| 3 | Season deer with salt, pepper and thyme. |
| 4 | Heat frying pan or skillet; add fat. |
| 5 | Brown deer meat on both sides. |
| 6 | Add water to a covered meat to simmer until tender. |
| 7 | Add curry powder. (Cook for about 5-10 minutes) |
| 8 | Separate egg white from yolk. |
| 9 | Cut white into cubes. Add to pot with green peas. Stir to combine. (Remove from heat) |
| 10 | Garnish dish with egg yolks. Serve hot. |
