| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3-4 lbs chicken 1400g | 1 lime or 1/2 cup vinegar | 1 medium onion (chopped) |
| 3 cloves garlic (crushed) | 1 tsp salt 5ml | 1/2 tsp black pepper 2ml |
| 4 spice seeds (crushed) | 1 tsp oregano leaves (crushed) 5ml | 3-4 tblsps coconut oil 45ml |
| 1 small green pumpkin or 2 small Irish potatoes (optional) | 1 tsp cumin 5ml | 2-3 tblsps yellow ginger or curry powder 45ml |

| 1 | Clean chicken with lime juice or vinegar. Cut up and drain. |
| 2 | Season chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, yellow ginger, spice seeds and garlic. |
| 3 | Chonko (saute) onin and garlic in hot fat. |
| 4 | Add seasoned chicken and half fry. |
| 5 | Rinse out bowl that contained seasoned chicken with 1 cup water. Add this to chicken. |
| 6 | Simmer and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes. (Optional; Wash and cut up pumpkin or potatoes add to chicken). |
