| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 ozs serase (dried) | 2 ozs ginger (crushed) | 10-12 cups water |
| brown sugar to taste | 1-2 tsps icing glass | 1-2 tblsps yeast |
| 1 | Rinse serase leaves and sterm. |
| 2 | In medium size pot, add serase, ginger and water. |
| 3 | Boil for 5-10 minutes. Put to cool. |
| 4 | When luke warm, add sugar, yeast and icing glass. Stir. |
| 5 | Cover with a clean cloth. Leave for 3-5 days. |
| 6 | Strain, taste, and sweeten again if necessary. |
| 7 | Put in a clean bottle. Yields 1 gallon approximately. Belizean herb. |
