| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 12 oranges | 8 cups water | sugar to taste |
| 1 oz yeast 28g | 2 ozs ginger root 56g (crushed) | 1 piece cinnamon stick (about 4") |
| 4-6 cloves | 2 ozs raisin | |
| 1 | Squeeze oranges-remove seeds. |
| 2 | Put in a large mug or bowl, add water. |
| 3 | Add rind of orange (about 1/4 cup). |
| 4 | Add cloves, cinnamon, raisin and ginger. |
| 5 | Bring to a bowl-simmer for 10-15 minutes. (cool) |
| 6 | Add yeast, mix well. |
| 7 | Cover and leave for 12-14 days. |
| 8 | Strain, cool, bottle and label. |
