| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 pounds brisket of beef | 2 onions, sliced | 1 bay leaf |
| 3 tablespoons sugar | 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar | 3/4 cup boiling water |
| 1/2 cup white raisins | 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1/4 teaspoon pepper |
| 1 | Place brisket in a heavy pot. Add onions, bay leaf, sugar, vinegar, water, raisins, salt, and pepper. |
