Chubby's Favorite Noodle Kugel

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces broad noodles 1/2 pound butter 4 ounces cream cheese
1 cup cottage cheese 1 cup sour cream 1 egg
1/2 cup milk salt, if desired pepper, if desired



1 Preheat oven to 350 F.
2 Parboil noodles until almost tender. Drain well and transfer to a large bowl.
3 While noodles are hot, add butter (or margarine) and cream cheese. Mix until melted. Add cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, and milk, mixing together well.
4 Pour into a casserole dish.
5 Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until bubbly and top starts to brown.
6 Serve hot, with salt and pepper, if desired.
