| 1/4 cup packed brown sugar | 1/4 cup apple juice or apple cider | 4 teaspoons apple brandy |
| 1 tablespoon rice vinegar | 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger | 1/8 teaspoon curry powder |
| 1-1/2 cups peeled, cored, and chopped tart apples | 1/4 cup raisins | 2 tablespoons chopped onion |
| 1 | In a small saucepan, stir together brown sugar, apple juice, brandy, rice vinegar, ginger, and curry powder. Add apples, raisins, and onion. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Uncover and simmer about 5 minutes more or until most of the liquid has evaporated. Serve warm. |
