Liver Jerky Bites

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound (2 cups)(or more or less, as desired) beef or chicken liver



1 Preheat the oven to 250 F.
2 Cut the liver into bite-sized pieces. Place in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring water to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for three minutes. Drain the water and place pieces of liver on a baking sheet covered with greased or non-stick foil. Bake the liver for two hours (longer if pieces are large). Store at room temperature in a loosely covered container.
