Yummy Training Meatballs

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound (2 cups) hamburger or ground turkey 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried dill liver bread crumbs (see recipe below)

1 Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2 Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together with your hands. Form small, treat-sized meatballs by rolling a pinch of the meat mixture between your palms. Place on a baking sheet lined with greased or non-stick foil. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Remove cooked meatballs onto paper towels to absorb excess grease.
3 ALTERNATIVE BAKING METHOD: Rather than forming meatballs, put the whole mixture into a loaf pan. Bake the loaf for about 60 minutes or until dry on top. If you're using anything but the leanest meat, drain off the fat after you take it out of the oven. Once cooled, cut the meatloaf into small training bites. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
4 FOR LIVER BREAD CRUMBS: Place three pieces of bread and three freeze-dried liver treats in food processor. Mix until liver is completely chopped up. (Don't bother to measure the crumbs-just dump this amount in the mixing bowl.)
