| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 cups whole-wheat flour, plus extra for rolling | 1/2 cup wheat or oat bran | 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese |
| 1/4 cup fresh parsley | 2 tablespoons fresh dill | 1/2 cup chicken broth |
| 2 tablespoons safflower oil | 1 egg | |
| 1 | Preheat the oven to 400 F. |
| 2 | Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Liquefy the parsley, dill, and chicken broth in a food processor. Add oil and egg to the processor and mix thoroughly. Add liquid mixtue to dry ingredients and mix well into a soft dough. Tun out onto a lightly floured surface and roll to 1/2-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut into shapes and place on a baking sheet covered with greased or non-stick foil. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. |
