| 1 cup orange juice | 1 cup sugar | julienne peel of one lemon |
| juice of one lemon | 1 pound small plums, pitted and quartered | 1 can (16 ounces) peach halves, drained |
| 1 can (17 ounces) unpeeled apricot halves, drained | sprigs of mint | |
| 1 | In a saucepan, combine the orange juice, sugar, lemon peel and juice. Cook at a full rolling boil until it becomes a thick syrup. Reduce the heat, add the plums and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the peaches and apricots and simmer for 2 additional minutes. With a slotted spoon, place the fruit in a serving bowl. Bring the syrup to a boil again and remove it from the heat. Add the mint to the syrup and pour over the fruit. Chill. |
