Sardine Spectacular

30 to 40 training-sized treats


INGREDIENTS:
1 3.75-ounce can sardines in oil, undrained 1/2 cup plain, unseasoned bread crumbs



1 Place the sardines and their oil in a food processor or blender and puree to a thick paste. (Add a tablespoon or two of water if the fish doesn't form a paste.)
2 Place the paste in a mixing bowl and add the bread crumbs. Stir well to mix thoroughly.
3 Place the mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
4 During training, serve tiny bits on the end of a small spoon or a popsicle stick.
5 Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 wekk. Extra treats can be formed into bite-sized treats and frozen.
