| 1 |
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. |
| 2 |
In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread mix, the yeast from the bread mix box, and 1/4 cup catnip. |
| 3 |
Stir in the egg and water. Mix well to form a sticky dough. |
| 4 |
Place the dough on a greased cookie sheet. Flour or oil your hands so that you can handle the dough, and then spread the dough over the bottom of the cookie sheet until it is 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. |
| 5 |
Using a pastry brush or a spoon, spread the beaten egg yolk over the top of the dough. Sprinle the dough with the remaining 1/4 cup of dried catnip. |
| 6 |
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the bottom of the treat is golden brown. |
| 7 |
Flip the treat (don't worry if it breaks apart) and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes or until both sides of the treat are golden brown. |
| 8 |
Remove from the oven, let cool thoroughly, break into bite-sized pieces, and store in an airtight container. |
