Fudgy Chocolate Brownies

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped 3 large eggs
1-1/2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)



1 Grease a 9-inch square baking pan. Stir butter and chocolate in a heavy medium saucepan over medium heat until melted. Whisk eggs and sugar in a bowl. Add warm chocolate mixture and vanilla; whisk to blend. Whisk in flour. Add nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
2 Bake in a preheated 325-degree oven about 25 minutes, until a tester inserted into center comes out with moist crumbs attached. Cool in pan on rack. cut into squares.
