| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3/4 cup corn meal | 1/4 cup sifted flour | 1/2 tablespoon sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1 teaspoon baking powder | 1-1/2 cups plus 1 tablespoon milk |
| 1 egg, lightly beaten | 2 tablespoons butter, melted | |
| 1 | Combine dry ingredients. Stir in 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon milk. Stir in egg. Put butter in 9 inch baking pan in oven; when butter is hot pour batter into pan. Pour remaining 1/2 cup milk over top and do not stir it in. Bake in preheated oven at 400 F. for 30 minutes. |
