| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 cup water | 8 ounces sweet butter | 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1 cup sifted flour | 5 eggs | 2 cups vegetable or corn oil |

| 1 | In a deep saucepan, boil water, butter and salt. Stir in flour and mix in one direction until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan and forms a solid mass. Turn off heat and stir in eggs one after the other. |
| 2 | Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Drop the mixture 1/2 teaspoon at a time into the pan and fry until brown. Drain on paper towel and roll in sugar. |
