| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 cup butter or margarine | 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed | 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| 1 egg, well beaten | 1 cup flour | 1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease two cookie sheets in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt. Add egg; beat well. Add flour; mix until smooth. Fold in walnuts. Drop dough by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets; allow 3 inches between drops. Bake 10 minutes. Let cookies cool 5 minutes. Let cookies cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet before carefully removing with a wide spatula to a cooling rack. |
