| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/4 cup small chocolate chips | 1/4 cup raisins | 2/3 cup sugar |
| 2 whites of large eggs | 1/8 teapoon cream of tarter | dash of salt |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a cookie sheet. |
| 2 | Combine chocolate chips, raisins, and 2 tablespoons of the sugar. Set aside. |
| 3 | Beat the egg whites until very stiff. Beat in cream of tarter and salt. Gradually add remaining sugar, a little at a time. Fold in chocolate chip mixture. |
| 4 | Drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. |
| 5 | Place in oven and immediately turn off heat. Leave cookies in oven without opening oven door for at least 8 hours or overnight. |
