Chickasaw Fry Bread

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups sifted flour 1/2 tsp salt 4 tsp baking powder
1 egg 1/2 cup warm milk



1 Stir first three ingredigents then stir in the beaten egg. Add milk to make the dough soft. Roll it out on floured bread board, knead lightly. Roll dough out to 1/2 inch thick.
2 Cut into strips 2x3 inches and slit the center. Drop into hot cooking oil and brown on both sides. Serve hot.
