| 1-1/2 lbs venison liver, sliced | 3 tbsp lemon juice | 1/2 cup flour |
| 1 tsp basil | 1/2 tsp salt | 1/4 tsp pepper |
| 2 eggs, beaten | 1/2 cup cream | 1 onion, grated |
| 1 tsp garlic powder | 2 cups dried bread crumbs | 1/2 cup bacon fat |
| 1 | Sprinkle liver with lemon juice. Combine flour, basil, salt and pepper. Dredge liver slices completely. Mix together eggs, cream, onion, and garlic powder. Dip the liver into this mixture and then dip into bread crumbs. Fry quickly on both sides in hot bacon fat. |
