Sweet Watermelon Ice

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups fresh watermelon juice 3 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice



1 Pour the watermelon juice into a shallow glass baking dish. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir well. Place the dish in the freezer and chill.
2 Stir the liquid every 30 minutes until it has frozen into grainy ice crystals. The process should take about 4 hours, depending on the temperature of your freezer. You can also use an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's directions.
3 Serve immediately, or store in the freezer in a covered container for up to several weeks.
