Key Lime Pie

INGREDIENTS:
CRUST: 1-1/2 cups graham creacker crumbs 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
FILLING: 2 eggs 15 ounces sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup lime juice
1/4 tsp salt TOPPING: 1 cup sour cream 1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt GARNISH: graham creacker crumbs grated lime rind



1 First prepare the base by blending togehter the crust ingredients. Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 10 minutes.
2 To prepare the filling, beat the eggs and milk together, and add the lime juice and salt. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and bake at 350 F for 10 minutes, or until set.
3 Meanwhile, prepare the topping by combining the sour cream, sugar, and salt. When the filling has set, spread the topping over the pie. Bake at 425 F for 5 minutes to allow the topping to set. Garnish with creacker crumbs and lime rind, and serve cold.
