| 6 cups hot steamed couscous | 2/3 cup raisins | 6 tablespoons superfine sugar |
| 2 tablespoons superfine sugar | 2 tablespoons butter | 2 to 4 drops rose water or vanilla extract |
| 1 cup milk or heavy cream | tropical flowers, for decoration (such as frangipani) | |
| 1 | Combine the couscous, raisins, sugar, butter, and rose water in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Warm the milk in a small pan over low heat without allowing it to boil. If you are using cream, do not heat it. |
| 2 | Place small amounts of the sweet couscous in individual bowls. Top with warm milk or cream, and decorate each serving with a flower to serve. |
